Those early 700s are good guns and built to where they don't kick.My daughter started shooting my 7mag when she was 13 and can out shoot me by a long shot.Her furtherest was a 374 yard on a bedded NM Oryx.Took it to Africa and she was the only one in camp that had all one shot kills.I had a guy reload me some shells several years ago and they were hot and damaged the bolt face.I mailed it back to Remington through UPS.I received a call a few days later from Remington and they asked me if I knew what I had?They go on to tell me that Remington tested using stainless steel for the barrels and blued them,I think he said 1 year and they didn't keep doing it but thats what I had.You have a really nice collection and right on with price
