Imadan comes in a powder form. I partially fill my sprayer with water, add the Imadan and Captan, shake it up, and then add the rest of the water.

With Imadan I would wait till the flowers are done after pedal fall. Otherwise the Imadan will kill the bees and any other pollinators.

My son graduated from his lineman school on Friday. Ironically that was the 1 year anniversary of his crash. He’s doing great. Now he just needs to find a job 😀

I’m no expert. I bait with cat food or mini marshmallows. I sprinkle a little cheap imitation vanilla on each. The bears seem to like the mini marshmallows. I’ve walked up on them licking out the marshmallows.

My last year with my homemade evaporator. Next season we will be stepping up to a Smokey Lake Dauntless with a blower. Either a flat pan or a divided pan. Haven’t decided yet.

Collected last night and this morning. Mostly still frozen blocks from the cold snap earlier in the week where we got below zero. It ran a bit overnight. Trees really varied in what they put out. Started cooking the sap this morning.
