The shrooms were popping good in northern WI. I picked about 75 black trumpets off the land. They are hard to spot, but once you find one you can usually find 15-20 more. They might not look the most appetizing, but are one of the best tasting mushrooms I have ever tried. I'm putting them in the dehydrator, grinding them up into mushroom powder. The flavor actually gets stronger when they are dried.
