Seems like some pretty good prices on trees, plus free shipping. I picked up another Arkansas Black and Granny Smith.

Any issues planting clover in the same plot year-after-year? I know some plants should be on a rotation, but wasn't sure if clover needed to be one of those?

With the recent Black Walnut post and the value of the timber I thought I would buy 25 seedlings and get them in the ground for the kids/grandkids. I plan to tube them. Anything else I should be doing to insure their survival and growth? Thanks.

I am considering buying some black cherry seedlings and am curious if I should be concerned about browsing? I really have no interest in trying to cage all the trees because of the cost. If I can plant them with minimal care, then it may be a tree I go with. Thanks.

I have a clover plot that is on its last leg. I can rent a drill from the county and am considering drilling corn directly into what clover is left this spring. I will spray it with gly to kill weeds, then drill. Any suggestions or pros/cons on this plan? Thanks.

There has been very little rain here in SE Ohio, so I have held off fertilizing my clover. There is some rain forecasted this week and I was wondering if it would do me any good to try now? Thanks for the help.

Anyone try this? I am in SE Ohio and am considering using this in a mix with Crimson Clover this Spring as a soil builder/Nitrogen fixer. I can sometimes get some of the Crimson to come back an extra year, so I might be able to get 2 years out of this mix. Thanks for any input on this type of...
It is going to be 70 here in SE Ohio today and above freezing for the foreseeable future with rain for the next few days. Just curious thoughts on broadcasting clover in the next few days and the likelihood of it germinating and living. Thanks.

I am looking for a good source of hybrid will cuttings. Amazon has some options, but I am checking to see if anyone on here has a reputable dealer they use. Thanks.

My largest food plot (2 acres) butts up against woods on 3 sides and to a pasture on the 4th. I plant a screen on the pasture side, but was curious if I should plant some berry bushes on the wooded sides. Any thoughts/issues anyone has? Thanks.
Just curious if anyone has ordered any trees from TreePro? I am looking at their hybrid Chestnuts and was wanting any feedback from anybody who has dealt with them before. Thanks.

From what I have read, gly is a dangerous spray to use around fruit trees. Are there any safe herbicides to spray around young apple trees that won't negatively affect them in any way? Thanks.

This will be my first year grafting. We have several days of warm weather coming in SE Ohio and was considering starting to graft some scions onto my pear trees. Is it too early? We sometimes have frosts into the first week of May around here. Thanks for the input.

Anyone try planting apple tree cuttings? According to YouTube it works, but am always skeptical. My aunt has an apple tree that she says she just found in the woods, dug up and moved to her yard a few years ago and that thing produces tons of apples almost every year. I would like to take some...
Spent a lot of time in the heat and sun yesterday painting a basketball court onto a concrete pad. It was a surprise for my son when he gets back from camp. Let it dry 15 hours and I was the one who go surprised. It didn’t stick at all. I put four coats on it, so maybe the first coat wasn’t dry...
I am in the market for a brush cutter and am trying to decide between the Stihl FS 56 C-E or the Husqvarna 129r. I have been beyond happy with the Stihl I currently have (it is worn out), but have been extremely disappointed in my Stihl chainsaw and blower. I have never owned anything by...
