Oregon Grape

Yearling... With promise
A buddy is going to be digging up some Oregon Grape from his place here soon and I’m wondering if anyone has thoughts on it for quail. He says that the quail are in it constantly and it seems like good habitat from what I’ve read. It would also appear to like to spread but my thought was on my place it’ll be in an area I can mow around and run a Subsoiler around to try and keep it contained. Am I being too optimistic about containing it?

I don't think you can contain it. Birds eat the seeds and fly off and spread them.
