    The Sweet Clover Thread

It won't be huge. I'd expect to have to spray it anytime before June in PA. Probably later.

    The Sweet Clover Thread

When do you plant the milpa blend? That probably matters if you can terminate it

    The Sweet Clover Thread

I've grown it, and I don't think they eat it, except maybe at first green up due to food being sparse. It is a good soil builder, and bugs love it when it blooms, so turkeys could be all over it.

    Driil auger for planting plugs

I've destroyed a few of the Amazon augers. I highly recommend PowerPlanter brand. They're heavier duty and guaranteed. I have 3 different sizes. Some are wider and some are longer. (Less bending) I use them in an Echo gas earth auger, which is needed for the rocky PA soils. (Tried cordless and...

    Cuddeback's Cuddelink

The only way to get the full resolution pic is to get them from the memory card. It's only transmits a low res pic via cell.

    Your best fall mix?

The seed is awfully small for 1" depth. Have you ever planted them?

    Sprayer storage

We do have a spare battery that we use for random stuff. It sits on a charger in the basement. Wouldn't be awful to drive it up to the barn to power a winch the 2-3 times a year we might spray.

    Sprayer storage

No, it stays together. It's not designed to come apart easily. Too many nuts and bolts, plus the hoses. There is a foam marker on it as well. It sits on the boom, so it's back heavy. The barn floor is stone, so rolling is t super easy either. We have the 25 gallon ATV model with the boom too...

    Sprayer storage

How are you guys storing your sprayers? Our barn is pretty full, and am looking for innovative ways to store a spray that fits in the back of a UTV. (Cropcare 60 gallon) It's a bit awkward for one person to load/unload. Ideally I'd like to find a better way to hang it, than the makeshift "crane"...

    Cuddeback's Cuddelink

It mentions something about a fee for the overage. Do you know what the cost is? Regardless, I was due to upgrade the plan. We're up to 10 cams, so it was time. I actually got by for a month or two by dialing back the pic interval. There isn't a ton to see early spring. Bucks are finally...

    Cuddeback's Cuddelink

I ran out of pics for this month yesterday/last night because we added 4 new cameras recently. I upped the data plan this am. How soon should I expect it to start sending pics again?

    Perennial Plot Questions

Imox has a residual period, so be careful what you want to plant after spraying it. Grains might get killed, if planted too close to spraying.

    Morse Nursery

I don't have the full list anymore. I checked my email but the receipt didn't list the varieties. I know the one in my yard is a Sargent #5. I ordered 20 trees, so I probably picked 10 varieties.

    Bear and cub

This is probably the earliest I've ever seen a bear cub on camera in North central PA. (low res cell pic from the Cuddelink)

    Morse Nursery

I bought some of their hybrid oaks in 2017 for my dad when he turned 65. Most are still doing decent at our cabin. We each kept one at home. They're doing well, but each suffered and incident. Mine lost about 6' from the central leader 2-3 years ago. Some kind of worm bored a hole in it. Last...

    Gly spray didn't work?

Did you add AMS to your water? If you have hard water, it will neutral the Gly(weak acid) and it won't do anything.
