    Well I ended up biulding a couple PVC pipe pyramids for fathead breading. I built one out of 3” pipe and one out of 6” pipe I had laying around, coved the pipe ends with chicken wire to keep larger fish out. I also cut several ERC and drug into the pond for a little more structure. Next year...

    We had an ATV winch in the rafters of my mothers garage for hanging deer to butcher something like that or even a simple cable com-along would likely work fine.

    Don’t mow them you need a lot of growth to take up the herbicide, spray them during bloom time in the spring is best per most herbicide labels I’ve read and it’s a multi year application 2-3 years to kill a patch.

    Well I think we have gotten about 5” that pond that only had a foot or two last week is about 2 foot from full today fish truck was at local feed store this morning so I picked up 3lbs of minnnows and 100 bluegill for that pond.

    My 87 year old mother in-law bought a chainsaw a year or two ago. I about lost my mind when I saw it on her kitchen table. I don’t think she has tried to use it yet but who knows she it always puttering around her yard.

    We got .85 today with .75 in tomorrows forecast I’d take even more if I could get it I had hoped to stock that pond I cleaned out last fall this spring but it’s still pretty low and I don't just want to feed the herons.
